I missed out on Juan Jose Campanella’s The Secret in their Eyes when it won the Academy Award for Foreign Language film a few years back, but in true form, we’ve already got a U.S. remake lined up. The good news is, it looks pretty good! From the stellar cast, to the decidedly more adult tone, the trailer does a good job of outlining the story without telling us too much.
I may have to go back and watch the original now, but I’m also sold on this iteration as well. The Secret in their Eyes presumably releases later this year.
